Meet Regan

(MSc, BFA, BA, RYT-300, CTRI, ESMHL)

First and foremost, I am a horse girl. My first exposure to horses and equine assisted therapy was watching my brother participate in hippotherapy when we were toddlers. The movement of the horse supported his cerebral palsy in such a meaningful way that it inspired my family to bring horses into our lives for continued support. That was the beginning of my horse girl life.

Since then I’ve worked with hundreds of humans and horses around the country, providing therapeutic and adaptive riding, equine-assisted learning, mindfulness-based equine experiences and experiential support for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Today, my passion for horses stretches beyond the arena and into academia. As a scholar practitioner with an MSc in Psychology, I practice, studying, and teach equine assisted-interventions, comparative psychology, and interspecies connection. My ideas, in addition to other biopsychosocial tips and tricks, are the purpose of this site.

I hope you find something helpful (and that you go pet a horse soon).
